Who we are

The Council comprises 10 councillors and a Clerk.
Meetings are every 2nd Monday in the month
(except August & December).
Meetings are held in Yealmpton Community Centre
starting at 19:30 and are open to the public who can raise concerns at the beginning of the meeting.

What we do

We have a variety of powers and duties all of which impact
directly on the community, some of the areas are:

Advising SHDC on planning applications
Highways & transport issues (with DCC)
Emergency Planning including flooding
Organising grass cutting
Maintenance of Public Footpaths
Maintain our village (tidiness)
